THE EATALY GROUP, WHICH BOASTS NO FEWER THAN 11 SHOPS IN ITALY, THE UNITED STATES AND JAPAN, BRINGS THE EATALY-ALTI CIBI BRAND TO GENOA AND PICKS ARCLINEA AS ITS PARTNER FOR THE PROJECT.

The new 2,000 m2 food and wine emporium is on the top floor of the Millo building, in the heart of the Porto Antico. It boasts an exclusive glazed terrace with panoramic view of the sea, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, giving visitors the chance not only to shop but also to attend lessons, tastings and meet stars from the culinary world and more. In addition to different themed restaurants, a bakery with wood-burning oven, cafeteria, ice cream parlour, homeware section and a bookshop, Eataly also offers classrooms and special areas devoted to traditional Ligurian products.

Eataly has chosen Arclinea in the creation of its kitchen classroom for adults and children’s culinary courses. Inside, a highly equipped Convivium island has been designed with Elegant doors in natural oak and spacious open shelves in the front. For fume extraction, Arclinea has installed the ceiling-mounted extraction unit.
