Fidenza, Parma (Italy)
The initial stage of the project reworked the interior proportions and layout and defined which materials would be used, while the exteriors of this building in Fidenza were left untouched. Attention then turned to furnishing and decorating the interiors. Inside the exhibition area at Progetto Positivo, the Arclinea retailer in Fiorenzuola D’Arda, a number of small pilot projects were set up to showcase different solutions for decoration, lighting and furnishing. Support from the Arclinea Project Division proved to be fundamental in the custom design of the eight kitchens, all different: from a single open area onto the living area, to concealed kitchens. Various finishes were chosen for the doors: laminate, glossy polymer, glossy and matt lacquer, with grooved, recessed or external handles.
